The Donnelly Agency was established after many years of diverse experience. Kelly, a licensed funeral director in both Oregon and Illinois, has spent a combined 12 years in this field. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to assist hundreds of families during the death and dying process, as well as with preplanning services. Helping people, especially during difficult times, comes naturally to Kelly. Kelly stepped back from her career as a funeral director to focus on starting her family. During this time, she began her career in the healthcare industry. For 15 years, she served the community of Warren County by providing free programs and guidance to underserved populations, supported by grants obtained from the Community Health Needs Assessment, a process she played a significant role in. Additionally, she volunteered with the State of Illinois Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP), contributing her services to help seniors navigate their health insurance options. Kelly has gained a wealth of knowledge about Medicare, Medicaid, supplements, and more. "Medicare is an extremely complicated program, and I loved helping individuals navigate the system to find the most affordable and best products for their specific needs," states Kelly. With her background in funeral services and healthcare, Kelly recognized a need in her community and the surrounding areas. Throughout her career, she has focused on assisting the population aged 50 and over. She realized that she could offer valuable knowledge, counseling, and products all under one umbrella. Instead of requiring appointments with five different agencies, Kelly could handle many items we face as we age and plan for the future. She has already developed strong working relationships with many funeral homes in the area, and does preplanning for some of them exclusively.
Kelly is a wife and mother of three busy teenagers. She enjoys spending time with her kids and watching them participate in sports and academic activities in the United School District. Her children have always inspired her and contributed to her accomplishments. Kelly states, "I've always wanted to show my kids that you can achieve anything you want if you work hard, have patience, and love God." This agency allows her to be a part of their fast-paced lives and to serve her community and the surrounding areas to the best of her ability.
